Tell us a little about yourself and your family -- where you're from, what you do, what your interests are, etc. I am Md. Habibullah. I am from Bangladesh. I am 22 . My father is a farmer and mom housewife. I was studying but I had to quit my study cause my family couldn't afford the money for my RA medications. I wanted to finish my study but I couldn't!
When were you diagnosed with RA/Rheumatoid Disease? It was 2015
What was your first symptom? Back pain
What is the biggest way rheumatoid disease has affected your life? My education. I couldn't complete my study cause of RA!
What has been your experience with treatments for rheumatoid disease? Average. I am still suffering
What do you want the public to know about rheumatoid disease? Be aware of this disease before it get worse. Living with RA is so difficult. So we deserve care and respect.
How have you worked to overcome challenges presented by rheumatoid disease? I quit my study and started a job to be able to buy my RA medicines. I couldn't do anything else!
What have you learned through living with rheumatoid disease? Different life. A measurable life. I hope Allah helps of the patients of RA.
What encouragement or advice would you give to someone who is newly diagnosed? Be aware. Don't neglect your medication. Cause it will get worse if you do so.
