Running for Rheumatoid Disease

Running for Rheumatoid Disease

RPF Members and Fundraiser Organizers, Kelsey Pence Russo and Kim Pence.

RPF members have done a great job of organizing and executing fundraiser events. We'd like to thank the Pence family for organizing this fantastic fundraiser.

September 28, 2013 marked the date of the annual Mill Race Marathon / Half Marathon / 5k in Columbus, Indiana. RPF member, Kim Pence, organized a fundraiser based off of this race, benefiting the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation, and in honor of her daughter, Kelsey Pence Russo, who has rheumatoid disease. Through this event, Kelsey was able to accomplish a personal goal of completing a half marathon.  The fundraiser also brought in over $4,000 to support the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation in its mission to improve the lives of people with rheumatoid disease!
